Overview:
We are expanding our US IT Staffing team and invite applications from candidates who are highly driven with excellent communication skills and networking ability. He/she should be able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment that is metrics-driven. The ability to multitask and prioritise at any given time would definitely grab our attention. Candidates looking for a long-term stint would be preferred.
In addition to having the technical skills and qualifications, candidates must have a clear understanding of the US market with reference to benefits, compensation, Visa processes, and types and related work laws.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire life cycle of the US IT recruitment process.
- Sourcing and screening potential consultants from effective usage of niche platforms related to IT like Internal Database, Job Portals, Postings and Networking.
- Responsible for handling IT requirements of US-based clients with accountability
- Develop an action plan for recruiting the best fit for the organization.
- Includes understanding client requirements and mapping the relevant targets.
- Personally conduct interviews, document the same, and report as the need arises.
- Responsible for co-ordinating the fulfilment of other formalities such as background checks, documentation etc.
- Publish MIS to management every week.
- Possess excellent Screening Skills. Responsible for detailed evaluation of candidates against specific IT requirements.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of strong relevant experience in end-to-end US IT recruitment (screening resumes, interviewing, technical queries & interviews, closing of candidates and responsibilities till joining of candidates)
- Excellent knowledge of Internet-based recruiting tools (DICE, LinkedIn, Monster Worldwide etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of hiring practices and existing laws with respect to the US market.
- Experience in building talent pool for the US IT requirements
- Update about technologies of the Client requirements and knowledge of current IT trends.
- Must be comfortable working in night shifts.
- Experience in recruiting US Citizens and Green Card holders and OPT Candidates.
- Knowledgeable about different US work Visas like H-1B, E3, and TN.
- Familiarity with different US Tax terms is required (1099/W2/Corp-Corp etc)
- Ability to display deep sourcing skills and excellent candidate assessment skills.
- Should be self-motivated as an individual contributor as well as a team player.
- The ability to think analytically so as to consider all applicants and recommend the right fit for the organization.
- Proficient in English both verbal and written.
- Well-versed working knowledge in Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Bench sales experience will be an added advantage.
